6. Some backplates have location dowels for alignment – care should be taken to ensure that these are correctly positioned as they can differ in size to allow for correct location. 7. Insert the correct length screw by hand – all screws should be inserted before attempting to tighten.
8. Tighten all screws initially by hand using a standard length allen key, starting with the innermost row and working outwards.
9. Tighten in a diametrically opposed pattern to ensure the backplate is pulled to the face of the wheel evenly.
10. The screws should be tightened with a torque wrench to a torque setting recommended by the wheel manufacturer. 11. The wheel assembly should now be balanced ready for fitting to the machine.
